Thompson School District announced today that it had named Lazlo Hunt as Director of Special Education, effective July 18. He will fill the position vacated by Nancy Ingalls, who has departed the district.
Mr. Hunt currently serves as the Director of Student Services for Estes Park School District R-3. He previously served as the Director of Special Education for the Weld RE-5J school district in Johnstown and Milliken, Colorado. In addition to his work as a director and coordinator in Special Education, Mr. Hunt also has career experience as a school principal and alternative education program director.

Mr. Hunt earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
