Laurene Edmondson Elementary School kindergarten teacher Brooke Petrone received a $1,000 check for classroom supplies from the Extra Yard for Teachers program, which is supported and sponsored by the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation, the Mountain West Conference and Colorado State University athletics. As the CFP Foundation’s primary platform, Extra Yard for Teachers elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers through the implementation of programs in four focus areas: resources, recognition, recruitment and professional development.
