The Thompson School District Board of Education has formally voted to adjust its regular monthly meeting schedule.
Effective February 1, 2023, the Board’s first meeting of the month will be moved to a study session format. The study sessions will be hosted at 5 PM on the first Wednesday of the month at various locations around the district. The Board’s first meeting under this new system will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 5 PM at Garfield Elementary School (720 N. Colorado Avenue in Loveland).
Board of Education Study Sessions
Board of Education study sessions follow a different format than regular business meetings, with the goal to provide ample time for Board members to work together as they explore and discuss items that are coming before them. As a result of the different meeting structure, there are several meeting items that will not be featured at the sessions, including a section for public comment. Public comment will continue to be heard at the Board’s regular meetings, which are hosted on the third Wednesday of the month at 6 PM.
