Thompson School District announced today that it has named Andy Stevens as the Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE), effective July 1. In the position, Mr. Stevens will provide leadership and support of all district career and technical pathways and CTE-related concurrent enrollment courses. He will also be responsible for assessing needs, data collection and analysis, and designing programs to increase student achievement.
Andy Stevens is currently serving as the CTE Coordinator for the district, a position that he has held since last July. Prior to coming to Thompson School District, he worked for thirteen years as a teacher and chairperson for the Business/Marketing/Computer department at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Mr. Stevens earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Colorado State University and also holds a Masters degree in Business Education and Building Leadership/Administration from the University of Phoenix.
