Thompson School District is pleased to announce that it has named Tiffany Miller as the Director of Curriculum and Learning Design, effective August 21. She will fill the role that was vacated by Shannon Clarke, who has departed the district. In the position, Miss Miller will facilitate the development and implementation of pre-12 curriculum, instructional pedagogy and related education option programs. She will also coordinate and direct district work in the development, implementation, and assessment of programs, services, and instructional strategies that promote student achievement.

Tiffany Miller is currently serving as a Principal on Special Assignment for the district, supporting its goals and vision through the mentorship and support of school principals. Prior to that role, she served as the principal of Conrad Ball Middle School for ten years, a position she held after working in the assistant principal position at the school for two years. Miss Miller began her career in education as an elementary school teacher.

“I am excited about this new position and cannot wait to lead our terrific department in this capacity,” Miss Miller said. “I am proud to be a part of the Thompson team and I look forward to serving our district and community in a different role.”

Miss Miller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Las Vegas and she also holds a Master’s degree in Education Leadership from Colorado State University.
