Thompson School District announced today that it has named Jamie Zupparo as principal of B.F. Kitchen Elementary School in Loveland, effective July 1. She will fill the role that is being vacated by Justin Blick, who has been appointed as the new principal of Ivy Stockwell Elementary School in Berthoud.
Ms. Zupparo is currently serving as an assistant principal at Twombly Elementary School in the Weld Re-8 School District in Fort Lupton, Colorado, a role that she also previously held in the district at Butler Elementary School. Prior to her work in Weld Re-8, Ms. Zupparo worked as an Exceptional Student Services Coordinator in Thompson School District. Her career experience also includes service as a Special Education teacher and coordinator.

Kitchen Elementary community as the new principal,” Jamie Zupparo said. “It is an honor to lead a school with such a strong foundation of relationships, learning, and pride. I’m excited to walk alongside you as we continue to grow, support one another, and create a place where every student feels a true sense of belonging.”
Ms. Zupparo earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Sign Language from the University of Rochester in New York. She also holds a Master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Nazareth College as well as a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas in Arlington.
