Thompson School District announced today that Michaela Bradshaw has been named principal of Winona Elementary School. She will fill the position that was vacated by Kim Tymkowych, who recently departed the district.
Ms. Bradshaw is currently serving as the Head Principal at Johnson Junior High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a position that she has held for two years. Her career in education also includes experience as both an associate principal and assistant principal.
“I am incredibly excited and honored to join the Wildcat community as the principal of Winona Elementary,” Ms. Bradshaw said. “From everything I’ve learned so far, it’s clear that this is a school filled with dedicated educators, passionate students and supportive families. I am looking forward to getting to know each individual — listening and learning from their experiences, and working together to build on the school’s strengths. Together, we’ll continue to create a positive, inclusive and thriving environment for each of our students.”
Ms. Bradshaw earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Nebraska, Kearney, and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.
