Thompson School District announced today that it has named Becky Roussin the Principal of Berthoud Elementary School, effective July 1. She will fill the position vacated by Melanie Patterson, who is departing the district.
Ms. Roussin is currently the Principal of Windmill Springs School in the Franklin-McKinley School District in San Jose, California. Her career experience also includes service as a general education teacher, a teacher on special assignment, and an assistant principal.
“I’m thrilled to step into my new role as Principal of Berthoud Elementary,” Becky Roussin said. “I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff and to becoming an active part of this wonderful community.”
Ms. Roussin earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from California Polytechnic State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University-Irvine.
