Thompson School District is pleased to announce that Jeanette Ryan has been named principal of Lucile Erwin Middle School, effective July 1. She will fill the position that was previously held by Dr. Olivia Gillespie.
Mrs. Ryan is currently serving as an assistant principal at Loveland High School, a role she has held for six years. Her career in education also includes experience as an English instructor, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) coordinator, and an instructional coach.
“I’m incredibly honored to serve as Principal at Lucile Erwin Middle School,” Mrs. Ryan said. “I am committed to fostering a welcoming and positive school culture where each student feels seen, valued, supported, and inspired to succeed. Together with our dedicated staff, engaged families, and community partners, I look forward to building strong relationships and creating opportunities that empower all members of our school to grow and excel.”
Jeanette Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education from the University of Arizona. She also holds a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado Denver.
