Thompson School District announced today that Adam Kohn has been named principal of Turner Middle School, effective July 1. He is currently serving in the position in an interim role.
Mr. Kohn has held the interim position at the school since September 2025. He previously served as an assistant principal at Turner for the past two years and at Northridge High School in Greeley for three years. He has an extensive career background in education, including work as a third-grade teacher, high school counselor, and Culture and Climate Coordinator.
“It is a privilege to be named principal of Turner Middle School,” Adam Kohn said. “Serving this community is my passion, and I am excited to continue our shared journey of creating an environment where student success is at the heart of everything we do. I look forward to the years ahead and to seeing each of our students flourish within the strong, supportive community we are building together.”
Mr. Kohn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. He also holds a master’s degree in School Counseling and Human Services from the University of Phoenix.
