Keysha Martin has been named principal of Harold Ferguson High School (FHS) and the Thompson Career Campus (TCC), effective July 1. She will fill the position vacated by Dr. Jason Germain, who was appointed the district’s Director of Human Resources last month.

For the past three years, Ms. Martin has served as the assistant principal at the FHS/TCC campus. She began her career as a middle school autism resource teacher in Albuquerque Public Schools. Upon her relocation to Colorado, she transitioned to secondary work and became the resource teacher for the affective needs program at Mountain View High School. Ms. Martin’s career roles include service at Windsor High School as a special education resource teacher and as an autism interventionist for Thompson School District. She later joined the FHS/TCC community as a dean of students before becoming the campus’s assistant principal.

“I am incredibly honored, humbled, and excited to accept the position of principal at Harold Ferguson High School and Thompson Career Campus,” Keysha Martin said. “It is truly a privilege to continue serving a school community that I have come to know, appreciate, and love as a family. Throughout my time here, I have witnessed firsthand the dedication, resilience, and compassion that make this community so special. I am grateful for the relationships we have built together, and I am excited for the opportunity to continue that work in this new role. I look forward to continuing this journey alongside our incredible students, staff, families, and community partners.”

Ms. Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts Elementary Education from Wheeling Jesuit University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education/Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.
